Tom Langdon to Sydney:
This is one that has heated up since Collingwood’s tight loss in the Grand Final. Langdon is reportedly weighing up his options, as Sydney have swooped with an offer of $600,000 per year. Langdon has recently had a medical with Sydney, adding further strength to this rumour, while the backman is still on holiday.
AFL.com.au has stated that Tom Langdon had his medical with Sydney and has completed it, and is now weighing up his options. Collingwood are praying he will sign on, to carry on his and their strong form from the finals into 2019. Tom Harley also has made it known that Sydney are very interested, and its up to Langdon to decide on his future once he is back and training.
The Club has confirmed interest in Collingwood defender Tom Langdon.

Triple M have also reported the medical between club and player, and it seems to be growing stronger the likelihood that Sydney will get their man. It has all blown up over the last couple of days.
Sydney are keen for a key defender, as Heath Grundy ages and declines. Langdon is still only 24, and in addition to a strong season was superb in the finals, particularly in the Grand Final as he was arguably Collingwood’s standout performer. Sydney already missed out on landing Darcy Moore from the Pies, as he extended his contract, so the Swans may look to a different defender from the Magpies.
This one is almost all but likely. Sydney have stated their ambition to sign him, and he has completed a medical with them. Very few instances in sports has a player made a U-turn following a medical, especially with a strong offer from the Swans. Collingwood will have to offer everything if they want to hang onto him, but it’s looking more and more likely that Tom Langdon will be a Sydney Swan come 2019.
