A consistent AFL suspension system

The AFL’s handling of dangerous tackles received a lot of criticism.
For much of the 2017 season, the MRP came under a lot of fire and a lot of scrutiny for its inconsistencies in handing out punishments for reportable incidents. Dangerous tackles were penalised from anywhere between 1-2 weeks for the same incidents, head-high bumps were either punished severely for up to a month, or merely slapped with a fine. The AFL world rejoiced when it was announced that the MRP met with sweeping changes for the upcoming season, so hopefully these changes can lead to consistency and fairness when handing out punishments.
